I have Interstitial Cystitis and their diet does not allow cranberry juice. Do you agree with their findings

I have been taking Cranberry gel caps to prevent UTIs and have found that it’s helped me tremendously to fully evacuate my bladder. My mother in law had the same diagnosis as you & her Drs kept pushing Cranberry juice. Unfortunately she died before I found the right gel caps @ 12,600mg equivalent in ea gel cap. I take 1 twice per day. Hope this will work for you.

Is there a way to have the cranberries without the sugar?

I would assume you could use honey, or a good quality non-toxic sugar substitute?

I use a third of the sugar called for in the recipe listed and we find it to be plenty sweet. You can also add 1/8th tsp of stevia and try even less sugar.

I have made cranberry jam as well and its great with peanut butter. Also dark chocolate covered ones even the kids love.

Did I miss some here? I didn’t see an actual recipe for making the cranberry juice it only showed directions and what you need. Do you have a jam recipe you could share?
