How to Make a Better Than Rogaine Hair Remedy

This Better Than Rogaine serum will leave your hair feeling so soft, thanks to a few savvy oils. We added castor oil, which strengthens hair strands, jojoba oil, which is closest to your hair’s natural sebum, and argan oil, the ultimate carrier oil for hair.

These oils leave your hair shiny, but not greasy or weighed down. Now that you know how each herb and oil works, it’s time to bring them to life! This method uses the “quick boil” method, which works great, but you can also use our instructions for “slow infusing” if desired.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons castor oil
  • 2 tablespoons jojoba oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil or argan oil
  • 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried nettles (or add 5–10 drops of Stinging Nettle Tincture for an even more potent boost)
  • 1 teaspoon lavender flowers
  • 10 drops of rosemary essential oil
