The cultivation and processing of Spirulina is an easy task for producers, simply by growing it in a pond and drying it. Chlorella is preferred by producers because it has a low risk of contamination, uses less water to grow, and doesn’t require as much space as other algae. After these processes, manufacturers also have an easy time creating powders, tablets, and extracts with these microalgae.

Though they may provide the same nutrients, the amount of each nutrient differs in each. When comparing Chlorella and Spirulina side-by-side in a chart, you will see Chlorella is a more significant source of vitamin A at a whopping 287% daily value while Spirulina provides 3%.

How to Make Chlorella Avocado Pudding
